Irish Ferries launches the W.B. Yeats

On a glorious and unseasonably warm day, Irish Ferries has officially launched its stunning new cruise-ferry W.B. Yeats. The ferry is due to undertake up to four voyages per week sailing from Dublin to Cherbourg in France and accommodating 300 cars, 165 trucks and 1,800 passengers.

Speaking at the launch Andrew Sheen, Managing Director of Irish Ferries said; “We are delighted to welcome guests on board the W.B. Yeats this afternoon. While this spectacular ship is already in service on the Irish Sea, we are very excited to get her started on the Dublin to Cherbourg crossing which will strengthen our tourism and trading links with France, one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations.”
Guests can enjoy the comforts of the Innisfree Club Class Lounge, the luxury Maud Gonne Bar & Lounge and the Lady Gregory A la Carte Restaurant. Boylan’s Brasserie offers guests family-friendly options.

In terms of entertainment, there’s a cinema and lounge, a kids room and a games room to ensure that your journey to France is pleasurable sailing all the way!
